He began his relationship with the ocean at a very young age having grown up on the beaches of the Gower just off Swansea, Wales.
He started his Freedive journey and quickly took part in a few small competitions and performed some good CNF dives.
In 2015, he took part in his first vertical blue competition dubbed “The Wimbledon of Freediving” and won a silver medal in the CNF category Since then, he progressed a huge amount, breaking the 100m barrier in both CWT and FIM. But his true love still remains in CNF where he has gone on to break numerous British records. He currently sits 3rd in the world in CNF with a dive of 82m which also ranks him 8th deepest of all time.
In 2018, he won a Silver medal in his first Freedive World Championship.
